Keep a cleaning record that names the part and the source
An ownership note is more useful when it identifies the component and the correct instructions.
Updated:

Name the component before recording an action
Panasonic's cited manual separates care of the control panel, cavity, turntable and other parts. The Ninja AF400UK instructions likewise distinguish removable parts from the main unit. A single entry saying appliance cleaned can therefore hide important differences in what was actually handled and which instructions applied.
Use the component name from the correct manual. Keep the full model identifier and source revision with it. This article provides a record structure rather than a cleaning procedure; follow the complete instructions, including their precautions, for the actual product and part.

Keep observations and follow-up dates distinct
In a fictional record, an owner notes an unresolved part-identification question on 2026-10-01 and receives a clarification on 2026-10-08. Seven days elapsed between the entries. A second follow-up on 2026-10-10 would be two days after that clarification. These dates describe paperwork only, not a cleaning interval or a delay recommended for any concern.
Record what was observed, what source was checked and what remains unanswered. Avoid implying that the passing of a certain number of days makes a component due for a procedure unless that interval is actually given by the appropriate instructions.
Use the image to identify a boundary, not a method
The microwave front view shows an exterior interface. The air-fryer interior photograph shows a heating assembly, and the open-drawer photograph shows a different physical part. These images are useful for recognising that one word such as interior can refer to very different components across appliances.
They do not establish what may be removed, immersed or treated with a particular product. Do not infer a procedure from a photograph or from another owner's setup. If the component cannot be matched confidently to the manual, keep the question unresolved and obtain the appropriate clarification.

Separate routine care from a service issue
A record of a visible concern is not a diagnosis. Describe what you can actually observe without opening a casing or attempting a repair. The Panasonic manual directs service and relevant repairs to appropriately trained personnel; its care section should not be interpreted as permission to dismantle the appliance.
Keep any manufacturer response with its conditions and date. If an instruction says not to use an appliance in a particular condition, preserve that instruction rather than reducing the entry to needs cleaning. An accurate record should make the distinction between routine care and a service question easier to see.

Keep the record short enough to use
A practical entry needs the appliance identity, part name, relevant source, observation and next action. It does not need a long narrative or an invented maintenance schedule. Store it where you can find it alongside the manual, particularly if several similar accessories are used in the household.
At a future purchase, the record can help you ask whether the documented care routine suits your needs. It cannot prove durability or predict a product's life, and we have not tested either. The useful outcome is a clearer connection between the part in front of you and the instructions that actually apply to it.
